This is odd. In Debian testing when I click on the print settings the mouse arrow shows a spin then goes still and nothing opens at all. Can't see jobs in que or anything. Print jobs actually stopped going and I wound up going to terminal to force the jobs to print. Went over to the stable in Debian and I can open the print settings. Any ideas on what would be happening on that and how to get it working again? Can see the print settings in the systems settings etc but doesn't do anything.

Open the menu editor in both and compare the command being used. Change the one that doesn't work with the one that does.

Not finding anything anywhere on that.

Right click menu > Select Menu editor > find printer settings entry > compare command to the one in the other OS.

Running Xfce, don't see Menu listed.

I compared properties of the one in testing and in stable. Everything seems to be the same in them. But just not launching for some reason even when you click on execute it don't do anything. I can print. And when scanner not acting up will scan. Just that you can't open the print settings. So, when jobs are stuck, you can't get into it and tell to either delete or clear or anything. Yesterday I found the terminal command to force it to print out. All six were stuck in que and rebooting the printer didn't work. Sucked.

That's why it's called testing...
