I can see roughly how that was done. Rear-projection with three projectors, probably onto a prepared plexiglass screen.
I saw something along those lines in "small" about 10 years ago.
Technically not as hard as it looks, but probably really expensive. Can't help thinking "why bother?" to an extent. 😉
