I'm booked in for my first gender affirming surgery on Friday, an orchiectomy
I'm excited that it's finally happening, but also a little scared. This could be my first time staying in a hospital. It's day surgery these days but I'm booked well into the afternoon.
But at the moment.....

My fingers are crossed. Big decision, but you have obviously thought about it for a long time.

One thing though: if you're going for "Friday on my mind", then it MUST be the Easybeats!!! 😛

Do what you want in this life. Life is short and we are here only for a little while.
Wishing the best for you.

Good luck and best wishes.

as it turns out, today my brother is having his hip replacement surgery and we are expecting him back home Friday.

This operation was delayed from April (because of the Corona Cooties) so he's more than ready for this!

Considering how stressed medical persons have been for the last several months it takes a bit of courage to even step into a hospital now, but we all must do what is best.

I'm bummed out this morning :(
What I thought would be surgery, turned out to be a consultation. With more tasks given before I can have surgery.
Plus another $180 towards the hidden costs of gender transition

I hate that. I've had it time and again with dentists. (I do not like going to the dentist!!!). You get all worked up, and psyched up, and then...

Keep your chin up. 😉
