Thanks for letting us know, Dinga, and for finding out. I had started to suspect that things weren't going well for Nicko.
I will miss him too.

Damn. Will miss that old geezer. Had this gut feeling something was going on when he never showed back up here. Thanks for the heads up and please drink one to him for me also.

Nicko was unique fellow. Holding many opinions and willing to ponder the opinions of others. I will miss seeing his photos, especially of sunrises, sunsets, birds, and flowers. His recipes will live on in our household as some have become favorites.
May he find peace and be without constant pain now. His spirit can soar.

Still around.

This is the fellow in Australia who would post all those great photos of where he lives, yes?
(I'm terrible with names, so, I just want to check)

did he have any of his photos anywhere we can see them now?
he was one fascinating guy.

Yes nick'o was an aussie and if I ever learn to post photos here I have a couple of folders full of his photos that I could post the best of.

I'm very glad to hear that (about the photos). We definitely need to have a memorial thread (Official and all that)

Nick was a great guy. Kept his own entity. Kept his promise as well. He helped me out once when I had practically no means. So he sent me a laptop he didn't use. How many people would do that. RIP man.

Unique he was indeed. And quite a few times trying to bite the hand that fed him.
Anyway, let's hope he moved on to greener pastures.
