It occurs to me that much of what I've been talking on has a lot of rage and anger buried underneath. Sometimes more overt than buried. I thought I'd start a thread on things I like. Much of my life over the last 3.5 years was so stark that I'm rediscovering things that I took for granted before.

Yogurt w/ strawberries.
Blueberries.
A spoonful of peanut butter with honey on top. (Although, to be fair, that's easily available in the clink. It deserves a mention nonetheless.)

Hot chippies with chicken salt, I get salt cravings thanks to hormones

I am, but not because of bikinis.

There are some wonderful lakes around Leipzig. Defunct open-cut brown coal mines that have be re-naturised and flooded. Really wonderful. But the nearest salt-water beach is aboiut 300 km. away as the crow flies. That is on the Baltic Sea coast. It has it's own charm, but....
22°C qualifies as warm
A 1 metre swell qualifies as real waves
It isn't even very salty

So please don't post too many photos of Australian beaches here. I might get homesick... wink
