That Nick I wouldn't doubt a bit on the roller-coaster. That's a bitch that would get you going and coming at same time too. Glad that you're stubborn as hell and giving the Reaper it's run for the money!!! Make him wait forever. He'll get tired and go elsewhere. 😉

Hope you get home soon and back to the beautiful views of your area instead of those damn hospital walls. Keep them laughing Nick, keep them laughing. Stay positive and fight like hell!!!!

Glad to hear that Nicko. Now you can be the grumpy old bastard and I can go back to being grumpy old bastard instead of two grumpy old bastards. I should of thought of the dye they shot you full of. When they shot me full of dye to take photos of the back of my left eye I had all kinds of problems. That was nearly 20 years ago and I can still see the flash when I shut my left eye.

...that's a deal, Dinga...I reckon the Forum needs two grumpies like us...I think I've had the dye on 3 occasions...my first angiogram in '02...my 2nd angio back in July...then this recent CT scan...could be one other but not too sure...and you know how one procedure can meld in to another, ya just forget...

...like the 1st angio...I had to take a pill the night before 'cos I was probably allergic to the dye they were going to use...didn't need that for the 2nd angio...

I hate swallowing flies.

Or inhaling bugs in my nose.

Most times happens when you really can't do much about it either.

...I got home from hospital, after a record 27 day stay, last Friday...

....a good mate drove down from Tully, about 1,500 kliks to the north, and was able to drive me home...we haven't seen each other in about 4 years and it was just terrific of a mate, of near 50 year standing, to do that for me...

...the bfirst thing we bdid was buy a new mattress for my bbed...then killed two birds with one stone when I had to go to my bank to change the pin on my debit card...had the 4 numbers right but the sequence eluded me...after 4 failures, Moose paid cash...and I later squared with him...just shows to go that use it or lose it is still valid...I hadn't used the card in over 4 weeks and just couldn't think of the right pin number sequence...:-)

...also found the branch I now have to use for any physical banking...the Island branch has just shut down and is now only an ATM...no matter, it's easy to get to the new one and will end up being a terrif off Island trip for me...

...catch you later...
